Guestify

Turn guest WiFi from a cost centre into a revenue stream.

Guests connect. Advertisers pay to be seen. Venues keep the network — and the margin. Guestify is the captive-portal platform that plays funded campaigns, then puts an exclusive, POS-ready offer in the guest’s hand.

From association to the till in four beats

No app to download. No password to hunt for. The captive portal is the campaign — and the offer.

Connect

The guest joins the venue SSID. Mist, Meraki, or Aruba forwards them to Guestify — isolated from your POS and staff network.

Watch

A scheduled video or image campaign plays for a required duration. Frequency caps and weighted rotation keep any one advertiser from owning the slot.

Claim the offer

After the ad, the guest can save a branded offer card — complete with a QR the venue’s POS already understands — and carry it to checkout.

Get online

Guestify calls the vendor authorize API. The device is released onto the internet for a session you control — minutes, not a blank cheque.

Everything the captive moment needs — and the till does too

Built as advertiser-facing SaaS on top of the WiFi you already operate. Not another venue-only hotspot skin.

Guest access portal

A branded captive experience with terms, optional CASL-compliant email capture, and a Connect button that only arms after the required watch.

Video & image campaigns

Advertisers upload creative. Guestify transcodes, stores, and plays it inline — with a load-failure skip so a guest is never stranded on a broken file.

Fair scheduler

Three-level weighted pick — tier, then advertiser, then campaign — with explicit anti-monopoly rules, flight dates, and per-hour frequency caps.

QR codes for POS

Generate a code whose payload your till already scans, or upload the artwork your POS vendor issued. Attach it to a campaign. The guest shows it at checkout.

Save-for-checkout cards

A photographable offer card — venue brand, offer title, QR — that guests can save as a PNG. Built to be shown at a till, not browsed as a webpage.

Analytics that match the inventory

Impressions, completions, time-of-day. Advertisers see their own share. Managers see the site. Super-users see the network.

Advertiser self-service

Upload creative, set budgets, pick sites, attach a QR, watch spend. Stripe checkout with Canadian HST / GST / PST — one tenant per venue.

Manager approval & branding

Venues approve creative before it airs, set session minutes, and dress the portal in their own name, colour, and consent copy.

Metered or flat billing

Price by the day, by the impression, or by the completion. Per-advertiser overrides when a house account needs a different rate card.

The exclusive promotion actually makes it to the till.

Most captive portals stop at “you’re online now.” Guestify keeps going. After the ad, the guest lands on a dwell card with the offer they just earned — and a QR your existing POS already knows how to redeem.

  • Generate a QR from the payload your POS recognises, or upload the image your vendor already printed.
  • Claim tokens bind a code to a device, so the same guest cannot vacuum up every offer in the library.
  • Guests can screenshot or download a venue-branded PNG — the artefact a cashier can scan in one motion.

Scan at checkout. Same till. Same SKU logic. Guestify does not replace your POS — it feeds it a code it already understands.

Two sides of the same slot

WiFi used to be a sunk cost. Guestify splits the captive second into inventory a venue can sell and a path an advertiser can buy.

For venues

Keep the network. Sell the moment.

You already bought the APs. Guestify hangs the portal on them, isolates guests, and turns each session into a funded impression — plus a reason to walk to the till.

  • Works with the Mist, Meraki, or Aruba fabric you run today
  • Approve creative before it ever reaches a guest
  • Set how many minutes a session lasts
  • Brand the portal, the offer card, and the consent language
  • See which campaigns actually complete — not just connect
For advertisers

Reach people who are already in the building.

Not another banner on a page they might never visit. A captive, full-screen slot on the device in their hand — then a QR they can redeem ten metres away.

  • Self-serve upload, flight dates, and budgets
  • Video or still; attach a landing URL and a POS QR
  • Pay per day, impression, or completion
  • Canadian invoicing with provincial tax handled
  • Analytics scoped to your campaigns only

The phone is already out. Guestify uses the captive-portal window the OS opens anyway — no app, no captive-portal dead end.

Built for the ugly browser the phone actually opens.

iOS Captive Network Assistant and Android’s captive WebView are not Chrome. Guestify was written against them: tap-to-play instead of autoplay, inline video, a skip path if media fails, and no scheme tricks that flash an error and close the window.

  • Guests are never held hostage if ad inventory runs dry — Connect enables immediately.
  • Offer dwell happens before authorize, so Android cannot dismiss the portal before the QR is seen.
  • Privacy notice, marketing consent, and a manage-my-data path — CASL-aware by default.

Anywhere people expect free WiFi — and still buy something

Retail

In-store media plus a code the cashier already knows how to ring through.

Restaurants & QSR

Combo upsells, daypart specials, and a QR that lives on the same ticket as the meal.

Hotels & hospitality

Lobby and meeting-room WiFi that funds itself, with F&B offers waiting at the bar.

Shopping centres

A shared SSID, per-tenant campaigns, and traffic that used to walk past the storefront.

Municipal & civic

Public WiFi with a message slot — events, transit, arenas — without giving the network away.

Multi-site operators

One advertiser portal, many venues, scoped managers, and a scheduler that does not play favourites.

We did not ask you to rip out the APs.

Guestify is an external captive portal. Juniper Mist, Cisco Meraki, and HPE Aruba Instant already know how to forward a guest to us and accept our authorize call. A fourth vendor is an adapter, not a migration.

Tell us the vendor, the site count, and whether you want to sell the slot or run house ads. We’ll map it onto the hardware you already have.
